A 100-year-old WWII veteran falls in love with a 102-year-old woman and here is what they decide to do… Video attached!

A small group of dates, fall in love and tie the knot at the courthouse a couple of months later.

It’s a similar tale, yet this time the protagonists are not a romantic young pair. In their prime, these two individuals are both over a century old.

John and Phyllis Cook both live at the Kingston Home in Sylvania, Ohio. Their separate pads served as a floor, bringing them together to form a strong bond.

“To be honest, we fell in love with each other,” Phyllis, who will celebrate her 103rd birthday this summer, disclosed to WNWO. I understand why you might believe that it is too far off for someone our age, but we ended up falling in love with each other.

John, a WWII veteran who is 100 years old, stated, “We were quite similar in many ways, and we are enjoying ourselves.” Both of them were widows who had been married twice before.

Despite their shared experiences, their bond extends beyond just playing Bingo. When asked about their favorite activity to do together, John responded, “I probably shouldn’t talk about that.”

On the flip side, Phyllis was more direct and honest:

“Both he and I are not completely sexually inactive!” Phyllis provided education to KHOU 11. She explained that as a Christian, she does not believe in jumping into bed until marriage, based on her beliefs.

After the court was empty, they didn’t expect to get married.

“It wasn’t the plan,” John explained to WNWO, “but upon arrival, they offered to marry us here.”

He stated, ‘Great, let’s just finish this,’ expressing his eagerness to finally begin married life despite his impatience.

So John made the decision to design something for her.
